Designer dog clothes in New York City
Author: Greg Makarchuk

While walking on the streets of Manhattan in NewYork City, I came across many people walking or carrying dogs. I was very surprised to see so many dog parents with their dogs. The dog parents must have been giving their dogs exercise. I saw many different size’s and breeds. The dogs seemed very obedient to their parents. I stopped to chat up some of the parents by asking what breed they are and their name of their dog. One interesting thing caught my eye was that some of the dogs had designer dog clothes on. I realized how popular designer dog clothes really are. Coming from a small city, I have not seen many dogs dressed in clothing, so imagine me in the city of the big apple I was very excited to see dressed up dogs.

Dog parents have been dress their pets up for events such as holidays, Halloween, Christmas, Easter, Charity events, so designer dog clothes have many uses and become more popular, more than we realize.  Most people that are animal lovers find this acceptable because they love their pets and consider their pets part of their family.

Grandma’s Pug

My grandma has a little pug; I’ve never been the biggest pug fan, as I’m more inclined to be attached to bigger dogs like golden retrievers and Great Danes, but her pug amuses me and always has since it was a little puppy. I think the most amusing thing about her pug is the way that my grandma treats him.

She always has him dressed up in dog outfits, whether he’s a pug bumblebee or a pug dinosaur. Every time I go to visit her, he’s wearing something different. I always wonder if the pug has any idea how silly he looks, but he’s always wagging his tail and seeming fairly content with whatever she puts on him. He’s a trooper!
